EDUCATION

Diane attended a ground breaking experimental liberal arts college, Monteith College, which was part of Wayne State University, Detroit, MI. She concentrated in painting and drawing, studying under the noted Detroit painter, Robert Wilbert. She continued her studies in painting and photography at the University of Wisconsin, receiving her MFA in painting.

Diane is a member of the 2006-7 class of the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts “Artist Toolbox Program.”

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Diane has taught painting and drawing at Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan and at Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY.

For the past five years, she has created monotypes at Mixit Printmaking Studio, Somerville, MA.
Diane is currently the creative director of Nova Design, a graphic design firm in Somerville, MA.
